Oscar Izquierdo

Oscar Izquierdo is a fifth-year student at The King's University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, expected to graduate in 2023. He has a strong interest in specializing in addictions and trauma, and plans to pursue a Masters degree in counseling psychology after graduation. 

Born in Colombia and raised in Florida, Oscar has lived in Canada since then. He currently resides with his wife. He has a diverse background and is well-rounded individual with a passion for helping others. He is dedicated to staying current on industry trends in the field of psychology. 

In his free time, Oscar enjoys playing soccer, skiing, cooking traditional Colombian cuisine and volunteering in his church, where he served as an Executive Secretary and Family History Consultant. He is also passionate about sustainability and has traveled throughout the US, Canada and Colombia, where he's experienced abundantly the beauty of the world and the need for effectively promoting sustainable practices and addressing environmental issues. His psychological background is a valuable asset in understanding the connection between human behavior and the environment.
